Meet MurielleGrounded in the original Pilates method and shaped by more than 20 years of experience with Pilates, Murielle teaches individuals, athletes and Pilates professionals in the UK and internationally.
From her private garden studio in Brockenhurst, her teaching is highly individual, seeking to bring the body towards equilibrium through strength, mobility, control and balance.
A deep understanding of the original Pilates method, including the essence of the movement behind the exercises.
Pilates has been part of Murielle’s life for more than 20 years. She first came to it as a client, before going on to teach and train others.
Murielle discovered Pilates in her early forties, after years working in finance and luxury goods. What began as a way to address problems with her own body became a fundamental change in how she moved, felt and understood movement.
She began teaching in 2010 and went on to train extensively with internationally recognised Pilates teachers including Kathy Corey and Lolita San Miguel, one of the Pilates Elders who studied directly with Joseph and Clara Pilates.
Murielle subsequently founded Inner You Pilates in Geneva, where she taught private clients and small groups, trained Pilates professionals and worked with athletes.
Today she teaches from her private studio in Brockenhurst in the New Forest, alongside teacher training and international work in Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Poland and China.
Her teaching is highly individual. She looks closely at the person in front of her, how they move, and how Pilates can help bring the body towards equilibrium.
